A

Create a 13-foot sidewalk

An 8-foot median allows 13-foot sidewalks near shopping.

(The drawing accidently marks the sidewalks as 9-foot.)

B

Angle parking on 29th

In theory, angled parking can increase parking and slow traffic.

Unfortunately, because there isn't enough room for angled parking on both sides, angled parking wouldn't produce more parking on 29th.

C

Add bulbouts

Extend the sidewalk into the crosswalks and add landscaping

D

Convert parking to outdoor seating at Mitchell's

Remove one or more parking spots near Mitchell's and extend the sidewalk.

Add public tables and chairs

Perhaps we can entice ice cream eaters out of their cars and reduce double parking by providing somewhere to sit and enjoy the ice cream.

E
